Ken Aalders

I run a small business in Ottawa, providing Project Management and Information Management Consulting services. I have an excellent track record managing the delivery of services and products in the Healthcare, Financial, High Tech and Government business environments. In my professional practice, I have established project management offices, developed methodologies and completed significant projects in business transformations, incorporating business process reengineering, application portfolio management and software development.

Experienced in both project structured-gate methodology and Agile project management, I adapt project management practices in line with organizational capacity, balancing project activity with the client's operational workload and financial resources, to integrate new or improved solutions with existing core business functions.

Much of my recreational time goes towards my passion for sailing, either crewing on a competitive racing team, cruising my sailboat on the Ottawa River or hosting my winter speakers series for the Ottawa Sailing Community.
