Kenny Abbott
Born in southern California and growing up in northern Virginia, Ken now lives with his wife and two daughters in Aurora IL, a western Chicago suburb.
He has over 20 years of experience in marketing, promotions, advertising and customer service industries (since 1985) including the fast-paced motorsport racing industry, where among other things, Ken traveled the country as a professional race announcer.
His latest claim to fame however, is working for NBA legend Michael Jordan from 2004-2008, including race operations, logistics, media relations, and marketing strategies with companies such as Jordan Brand (Nike), Gatorade, Hanes, Oakley, Upper Deck, National Guard, Dunlop Tires, Boost (Sprint) Mobile, Suzuki and many others. He's also worked with Championship Cup Series (largest amateur superbike racing organization in the world), and Feld Motorsports (global leader in motor sports entertainment). Feld produces such events as Supercross and Monster Jam (as seen on TV).
He has spent decades helping athletes and teams reach their potential, and helping companies reach their consumers, increasing market share, and creating value. He has also served as the Athletic Director for a local Non-Profit organization mentoring Aurora's youth, while coordinating special events and 5th grade tournaments for under-resourced schools, and empowering youth through leadership and life-skills curriculum.
Ken currently works with local Aurora/Chicago Illinois area businesses to increase profits, simplify operations, and connect with consumers. He also serves as a Producer and Sound Technician for the Montgomery Campus of Community Christian Church, and will occasionally still MC community events.
Ken is always encouraging others to set higher expectations with his "Lead by Example" lifestyle and through coaching LEADERSHIP characteristics: Loyalty, Effort, Attitude, Dedication, Empower, Responsibility, Sacrifice, Humility, Integrity, & Pride.
