Kent McCammon

Kent McCammon is an electrical engineer currently working in the telecommunications industry. He helped to introduce new and affordable technology to enable fiber optic communications all the way to homes and thereby greatly increase the user experience compared to services over legacy copper wires. He is currently investigating solutions to improving wireless networks in high population areas and venues. He enjoyes the outdoors with his family including flyfishing, hiking, backpacking, and once swam with his then 13-year old son, hundreds of others, and uncounted sharks from Alcatraz to San Francisco in 2006. He shares a joy of music especially U2 concerts with his daughter.
