Keshia Knight

Keshia Knight is an award-winning journalist and media specialist currently working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Communications at San Jose State University.
She began her professional work in 2006, creating Savage Media CA to help a friend's band gain exposure. She worked as a Social Media Coordinator, promoter and street team manager to help the band gain new fans. Five months later, Keshia expanded Savage Media CA to include Brand Management and Tour Publicity.
She currently serves as the Director of Media Relations for the Pacific Collegiate Hockey Association Champions, the SRJC Ice Hockey team. As director, Keshia is responsible for all related media and coordination of on-campus promotion and player participation.
While band promotion and social media is her guilty pleasure, Keshia hopes to fulfill her life-long dream of getting paid to write about sports. She has completed internships with Thompson Communications (a sports PR firm) and Comcast SportsNet, and currently works as part of the Golden State Warriors Special Events Staff.
