Kevin McKenzie Brown BA has spent twenty plus years in business, in Canada and the USA, in Europe, and around the world. He worked for decades in the Vancouver film production industry, both in the business end of ‘the biz’, and also in the ‘art department’ (set design) arena. All of his movie (and other) jobs have involved solving problems by speaking and writing English expertly.
As an educator, Kevin has designed and taught courses for the BC Institute of Technology (BCIT); designed and delivered bespoke business solutions for film studio executives in Eastern Europe; and much else besides. Recently he coached European business executives in Belgium, helping clients to improve their spoken and written 'business English' skills. He is also a published author, with several scholarly articles to his credit in European history and art history journals.
Kevin's educational credentials include a BA in history (with first class honours) from SFU, as well as a CELTA certification (Cambridge University’s ‘Certificate in English Language Training for Adults’).
