Kevin Logie

Kevin Logie

Kevin Logie got his start in the industry as an overnight disc jockey in Buffalo, NY where he first had a chance to entertain the masses on 103.3 WEDG-FM. After spending a few years interning in the promotions and engineering departments at
the radio station, he was finally given the chance to be on-air talent and also became the go-to guy for all of their funny bits on location.

The Shredd and Ragan Morning Show had Kevin riding bareback on an elephant, dressing in lingerie, singing
Backstreet Boys’ songs to preteens waiting in line for concert tickets, and even trying to get two rhinos to mate – all just to get a laugh, a dream come true for this tall, lanky college boy who dreamed of following in the footsteps of Jim Carrey!

As Kevin approached his college graduation, he landed a job with the New York State Lottery as an emcee for the nightly lottery drawings. Being seen on live TV five nights a week led to other statewide opportunities, where he was able to use his
quick wit, comedy and charm to emcee events like the Special Olympics, Triple A baseball games, and state fairs. This exposure fueled Kevin to evaluate what he really wanted to do with his life. Since film and comedy were two of his greatest
passions, in 2005, Kevin decided to take the leap to NYC to further explore his capabilities.

He studied acting under Anthony Abeson and began taking classes at Upright Citizens Brigade. It was there that he met his future writing partner who helped Kevin discover another passion, writing. They began writing a lot of sketch
comedy and soon those sketches developed into a feature length film. Kevin’s very first feature film, Poundcake, starring Kathleen Quinlan and Jay O. Sanders premiered at the AFI film festival in 2008. The film took the festival circuit by storm
that year, earning them several awards including Best Original Screenplay and Audience Favorite. With a bit of success and a new confidence, Kevin landed a job with Heavy.com, where he wrote and produced weekly comedy sketches based on current trends and pop culture.

Then, in 2013, he co-created The Adult Table, a series of comedy sketches and shorts that were featured on Funny or Die. Kevin continues to write, do stand-up, and explore his voice within this industry. He is currently working on several new projects and looks forward to his next opportunities.
