Kieran Stack is a respected presence in the Brewster, New York community who served as Brewster Central School District assistant principal from 1996 to 2018. Developing a master schedule, Kieran Stack coordinated various school initiatives and activities within a suburban district that is economically and culturally diverse.

Mr. Stack’s accomplishments included setting in place restorative justice training that offered alternatives to suspension and instilled a positive pedagogical culture. He also guided efforts to move past a “Stand and Deliver” classroom methodology toward a teacher-as-facilitator model. This involved transitioning from the traditional lecture format and adjusting student seating arrangements.

Mr. Stack began his career with Sacred Heart High School in Yonkers in the mid 1990s as assistant principal. In coordination with students and staff, he effectively oversaw school elements such as classroom assignments, discipline, and parental communications.

Having attended Iona College as an undergraduate and graduate business student, Kieran Stack achieved recognition for his results in cross country and indoor and outdoor track. In his free time he enjoys activities such as cycling, reading, and playing golf.
