Killah Emcee

Born and raised in Mississauga, Ont., Charles Micallef aka Killah Emcee, after being heavily inspired by the likes of Mc Skibba D & Stevie Hyper D, began mc'ing himself at the age of 17.

In the late 90’s after not taking his talent seriously and pursuing other endeavours, Killah decided that the time had come around to pick the mic up again an express his talent.

In the early 2000’s he began appearing at some of Toronto’s hot spots at the time including Turbo Night Club, System Sound Bar, The Big Bop, Sound Academy and The Opera House.

By 2009 Killah Emcee was Performing with headliners from all over the globe such as Fraction, Harry Shotta, Funsta, Shabba D, Demolition Man, Million Dollar Dan, Top Cat, Rizzla, Loki, General C, Herbzie, Aceyalone of Freestyle Fellowship & Riddlore, TPower, Perfect Combonation, Pleasure, CKB, Erb N Dub, Jayline, Shimon, RuffStuff, Kenny Ken, Crissy Criss, Sicknote, Logan D, Majistrate, Nickey Blackmarket, Total Science, DC Breaks, Loxy and BTK just to name a few.

During his career, Killah also shared the stage with the biggest names in Toronto’s local club scene including Capital J, Marcus Visionary, Renee Lavice, NC-17, Sniper, Mystical Influence, Mr. Brown, Medicine Muffin, Ryan Ruckus, Gremlinz, Trajady, JD, Bandit and Caddy Cad among others.

What lies ahead for Killah Emcee? Recently signed with Where Music Lives, Canada’s leading artist collective, Killah has various recording projects in the works with the legendary Capital J, hints at world tour dates and a couple sponsorships from leading brands, Martial Artistik & Solid Apparel.

2013 is already proving to be a promising year for Killah Emcee.
