Kimberly Walters has owned and operated K. Walters at the Sign of the Gray Horse for more than six years. She is Virginia-based with an on-line Etsy jewelry store. Kimberly Walters creates faithful historical reproductions and unique designs with a distinct vintage flair. The majority of her jewelry is handmade from new, vintage, and antique components.

With museum-quality jewelry work stemming from her experience studying historical documents, museum pieces, portraits, and photographs, Ms. Walters is included in Early American Life’s Directory of Traditional American Crafts, an honor bestowed upon the best artists specializing in historic American forms.

In addition to serving as a sutler or vendor with the British Brigade and Continental Line military reenactment organizations, she has published A Book of Cookery, by a Lady--a collection of more than 300 historically accurate 18th-century recipes. Her book and jewelry are for purchase throughout gift shops in Historic Alexandria, Historic Annapolis, and George Washington's Mount Vernon, to name a few. The owner of five horses, Ms. Walters devotes the proceeds of these sales to her equine rescue efforts.
