Professional Profile
Koenraad Meuleman is the general manager of Meuleman Technologies, a company he founded more than two decades ago. The company originally focused on computer assembly for the educational en retail market. About a decade ago, the retail business was swapped for systems integration and Koenraad became the solution advisor for several medium to large businesses in his clientele. This is job he had done before while working for Erudict and Vers a Versa, where he had also been the technical operations manager. Before, he has held several ICT positions including some management positions within Techgnosis, an international company specialized in software that makes applications communicate with databases on larger systems.

As a solution advisor, Koenraad helped many companies to lower their total cost of ownership of ICT systems by centralizing data and computational power from PCs on many dispersed and international sites to a virtual central datacenter using all kinds of virtualization technologies to improve flexibility and further reduce costs. These virtual central datacenters were established as twin datacenters to guarantee high availability in case of disaster while keeping cost en complexity at about the level they would be without high availability and with a very appealing return on investment.

Education
Koenraad was born in Aalst, Belgium, but raised in a village nearby. He graduated as Master of Science in electronic engineering at the State University of Ghent with a focus on informatics. He later successfully followed courses at the Institute for Permanent Formation (IVPV) of the University of Ghent in ICT Management and on forensic expertise. He followed plenty of ICT vendor-specific trainings and holds several of the most-wanted ICT vendor-specific certifications.
