Kori St-Cyr is a science strategy and knowledge translation professional committed to working at the interface of science, innovation and public policy.

As Senior Advisor with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Kori provides strategic leadership and advice towards the agency’s open science and open research strategies, frameworks and policies. Previously, as a Research Associate with the Council of Canadian Academies, Kori worked with multidisciplinary panels of experts to develop evidence-based reports informing public policy development in Canada. In this role, he has led and designed research projects in diverse subject areas including science and technology performance, public health and public safety.

Kori holds a B.Sc. (Biochemistry) from Trent University, a M.Sc.A. (Biotechnology) from McGill University and a Professional Certificate in Knowledge Management from the University of Ottawa.

Kori is an active member of the science policy community, presently serving as Chair of the Program Committee for the Canadian Science Policy Conference, past board member of the Partnership Group for Science and Engineering, an organization hosting monthly science and engineering lectures on Parliament Hill and founder of McGill’s biotechnology graduate conference.

Kori is passionate about moving research from knowledge to action.
