Kownok Ahmed Uthso is a Bangladeshi politician and journalist. He is associated with the politics of the Bangladesh Jatiyotabadi Chatrodol (JCD) and has been active in political and social activities in Mohonganj Upazila of Netrokona District. Early life and education

Kownok Ahmed Uthso was born on 8 April 2005 in Mohonganj Upazila, Netrokona District, Bangladesh. He spent a significant part of his educational life in Mohonganj and completed his higher secondary education at Mohonganj Government College.

Political career

Kownok Ahmed Uthso became involved in student politics in 2023. After entering student politics, he participated in various organizational and political activities centered around Mohonganj Government College.

On 7 August 2025, he was appointed Joint General Secretary of Bangladesh Jatiyotabdi Chatrodol, Mohonganj Govt. College. In this role, he has participated in organizational activities, political programs, meetings, rallies, and other activities of the organization.

Alongside his involvement in student politics, Uthso has also participated in various political and social activities in Mohonganj. His political activities have primarily focused on student politics and organizational work, where he has played an active role.

Journalism and editing

Kownok Ahmed Uthso began his career in journalism in 2021. From 2021 to 2023, he served as a Newsroom Editor at Bangladesh Protibedon, an online news outlet. During this period, he was involved in news collection, editing, and publication.

In July 2024, he founded Daily Protibedon, an online news publication, on his own initiative. The publication covers current affairs and news from Bangladesh and around the world.
