Born in Pickering, Ontario, Kristen Holden-Reid is a former member of the Canadian National Pentathlon Team, earning a silver medal in both the Pan American and Pan Pacific Pentathlon Championships. He began his acting career with the leading role in 12th century drama Young Ivanhoe and has been working steadily since in such works as The Tudors, Underworld: Awakening, & Waking Up Wally: The Walter Gretzky Story.
He is currently co-starring in the international hit Lost Girl as the wolf-shifter cop Dyson and has a reoccurring role on The Listener. He can be heard as the voice of Captain Canuck in the new web series, a venture that was funded with fan support via Indiegogo. And the independent film The Untitled Work of Paul Shepard is now avialable via Vimeo.
The films The Returned and Sex After Kids, which were both completed in 2012, are now making the festival rounds and have been released early in 2014.
