I consider myself to be many things. I worked as a nurse for 25 years, then forced to retire in 2008 due to a work injury.

I now spend my days taking care of my home, tending to the chickens, gardening; whatever needs to be done.

In my spare time, I read, blog, work on my book, and watch some television.

Currently I am learning ASL (American Sign Language). I became deaf in my left ear in 2005. In 2015 my hearing in my right ear began diminishing. Now, My world is filled with much silence. I am told this was due to many ear infections and I listening to my music way to loud as I was growing up.

The picture posted is one of my cats, my favorite. Her name is Tigger and is very photogenic, you agree?
