Kudzu Smith

My name is Kudzu Smith. I’m fat, married, and from Alabama, naturally that lends itself to comedy. I am a Southern Baptist “humorist” (that’s a comedian who doesn’t expect you to laugh at every joke) who occasionally preaches. I am not eloquent. If you are accustomed to really great preaching from your church’s pulpit every week, you will be disappointed by my preaching but not by my message. God has given me a heart for the lost and for training and encouraging believers to witness their faith to others. Sharing your faith is not rocket science, if it were, I sure couldn’t do it. So many of us who call ourselves Christians, Christ followers or believers, have NEVER told a single soul how to come to faith in Christ. My questions to them are “Do you have a faith worth witnessing?”and “If you have something so much better than a cure for cancer, why wouldn’t you share it?” Please invite me to speak to your church or church group. I will never ask the size of your group or the size of the check. I do ask you to promote my visit to your congregation, so they can invite their unsaved friends to hear this funny dude from Alabama. If you have ever said to yourself, I would bring an unsaved friend or family member to church with me if I could be sure that the preacher would speak on salvation that day, you are in luck, today is the day! God changes lives! The time is short and the workers are few. We must surrender ourselves to Him. I pray daily that God put someone in my path that I can share the gospel with. I pray that God would make me obedient and bold and give me the words to speak. It is my greatest desire to make Jesus known, not for my fame, but for His glory. Let’s plant and water together.
