Kunal Gandhi

I am an experienced Digital and Social Media professional and have worked in digital and social across a vast range of industried over the past 8 years.

Having started a local level, helping businesses in Leicester and Leicestershire with their social media, I spent 2 years freelancing as a social media consultant, helping a wide variety of local businesses with their social, before taking on contracts with bigger organisations including O2, Ernst & Young, and Nissan, to name a few. I have also been a Programme Mentor for Digital Marketing Mentor, mentoring and teaching 18-24 year olds studying a BTEC in Social Media, the first social media qualification of its kind in the UK.

I currently work for AQA, the UK’s largest exam board and education charity as a Social Media Manager, and my role covers the ownership of every social strand across AQA. This involves strategic planning, platform development/growth, content sourcing, content creation/scheduling, campaign management, staff development/recruitment, in-depth analysis, partnership building, management, reporting and much more.

My work at AQA also includes sharing my insights of working in social media across a variety of different media, as well as also contributing and being quoted in a number of different thought leadership articles over the years.
