Kurt Stowell

Throughout his career in finance and accounting, Kurt Stowell of Easton, CT, has managed accounts and funds while analyzing and adjusting the effectiveness of systems. He most recently served as a tax accountant with David E. Thomas Tax Services in Redding, CT, where he advised clients on business processes and personal financial issues. Also the owner of KRS Construction in Easton, CT, he negotiates contracts and manages budgets, Kurt Stowell has also built extensive experience as a controller with Bankstreet Mortgage and DKR Capital Partners.

A graduate of the economics program at the University of Connecticut, Kurt Stowell completed a Certificate of European Studies with the University of Limburg in Holland. He began his career as a junior accountant with Bakker & Versteegh in Maastricht and went on to serve as a fund accountant with State Street Bank and Trust. After working at State Street's office in Luxembourg, he returned to the United States to accept a position as compliance administrator. Supported by an in-depth knowledge of federal regulations, Mr. Stowell is currently working toward enhancing his credentials with a CPA certification.
