The reason I am taking Kyani products, for over a year now, is because I have to keep my high cholesterol and triglycerides under control. I suffered a mini stroke almost 5 years ago, and it was then that I learned that my cholesterol was over 300. I was prescribed a lowering cholesterol medication called Lipitor, and shortly after, found out I was allergic to it, breaking out in small hives and itching. I was then prescribed Crestor, and I questioned that both had statins in them, which I believe was why I had an allergic reaction. So, not having any defense to lower my cholesterol, my daughter encouraged me to drink a shake that had the ability to lower cholesterol. It worked, and in 6 months I had lowered my cholesterol by 100 points. I continued to drink my shake, as I considered it my "medicine". Then two years ago, other superfoods were added to the shake formula I loved so much, and I found that I was allergic to one of the new superfoods that caused severe itching. I was without my defense for 10 months, when my brother introduced Kyani to me and my husband. I was attracted to the fact that Kyani had the ability to lower cholesterol, and I am so happy to say that it has and is keeping my cholesterol and triglycerides down. I like the fact that I am not ingesting chemicals that can do harm to the body, which in turn would require other medications (chemicals) to counter any side effects. I never want to be on a "medication merry-go round". At almost 70, I have increased energy, which I am using to let others know what Kyani is all about.
