Rome and Cambridge

I am a classical archaeologist, specialised in pre-Roman and Roman archaeology. I have completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge, Department of Archaeology and Anthropology. Currently I am an Affiliated Scholar at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research Cambridge University. Since 2000, when I completed my MSc Archaeological Science: Computing Archaeology at the Department of Archaeology, University of Southampton, I have have been working in numerous scientific projects both in Italy and in the UK as a GIS and database expert. My interest in digital humanities has led me to explore new ways of communicating the past with the use of open access resources and social media in classical archaeology. My main research focuses on the study of material culture and architectural decorations of early roman temples.
