I was born a dreamer and an optimist. Then for 50 years I worked in the health sciences. True, I did a lot of good and made a lot of money. But, now I have asked myself - what do I love doing?

The answer is in my hobbies... I cut gems, and I collect them. I became GIA certified in Diamonds and Colored Stones!! I went to garage sales and estate sales and bought " sparklies" -sterling silver jewelry with semi precious stones. I bought a complete set of jewelry equipment to reset stones and repair the flea market jewelry. Now I am happy and am able to sell quality estate jewelry for $4.00 a gram which usually works out to small fraction of what it cost new or what it might cost to replace.
