Laurie Swoboda
Web Developer and Designer in Mesa, Arizona
Laurie Lee Swoboda grew up in Bryn Mar, PA (where she felt quite comfortable), when she was 12 her parents unceremoniously moved her into an Airstream trailer with her sister and they traveled throughout the United States being homeschooled, finally landing in Jackson Hole, WY (where she definitely did not fit in).
She spent almost twenty years working as a Marketing & Sales executive for the Apropos Companies in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Laurie developed wholesale gallery relationships, publishing artists and performing sales training seminars, where she was (much-abused & under-appreciated) for her talents, although loving every minute of it.
After moving to Denver, CO (because she was burnt out and didn’t know where else to go) she accidentally fell into a position with a small bankruptcy firm as V.P. of Marketing and Sales. The title was a bit of a stretch, seeing it was a 3 person office. Albeit, she plugged along, bringing annual revenue from 250k to over 2.4M in 6 short years due to her innovative marketing campaigns that positioned the firm in acquiring a majority portion of market share. In 2012 she opted to go it alone, she is now setting the foundation for her new venture where she is greatly appreciated (although overworked) but queen geek of her domain.
She is a strategic, multi-talented internet marketing guru & web designer with an eye for design perfection. Even though her skill set is vast, she continues with her education to this day. While her primary expertise is developing groundbreaking web design, she is a social media architect, brand identity guru, content creation wizard, blogger extraordinaire, business development fanatic and pay per click solution enthusiast.
She is addicted to golf, Indian Food, yoga, cooking and commercials of all kinds – yes, she is a commercial junkie.
She currently lives in Mesa, AZ in the winters and Durango, CO in the summers — with her two cats who just want to make sure there is enough cat food money available.
