Pastor Carolyn Evans was born in Petersburg Va., to the late Shirley Ann Bonner and to her father James Bonner, who is now 85 years old. She is the oldest child of her four sisters and one brother. She has two children of her own-- Michael and William, and one grandchild, Destiny. Pastor Carolyn has been married to her lifelong husband Minister Clayton Evans since May 14, 2004 and lives in Columbus, Ga. She has worked in many fields to include case-management of Substance Abuse and Mental Health clients and also Probation and Parolees. She has an Associate’s Degree in Human Services, and she is currently seeking her Bachelors of Science degree. Pastor Evans is a Certified Life Skills Coach and has a Photography company. She is passionate about life and love, and is a servant to God and His people. Pastor Carolyn has a heart for the downtrodden, the lost, the broken, and the seemingly hopeless. She also has a very compassionate heart for women and wives. She has been ministering to men and women for as long as she can remember. When she did not even understand the calling on her life in her younger days, people who stop her and talk to her and tell her things that she thought should be private or maybe too personal for strangers. But this thought never stopped her from listening to them without judgment and talking with them, encouraging and praying with them. She was known as one to have never met a stranger. People have been drawn to her spirit, and she has been drawn to others who have the spirit of God in them. Pastor Carolyn Evans was birthed out in the Ministry December 23, 2008, and ordained and licensed as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in February of 2012. Her passion is helping others to understand the magnitude and importance of operating in love. This ministry is all about love, and learning to operate in it. God has given Pastor Carolyn Evans the assignment of ministering to His people about His greatest commandment. Pastor Evans will minister to all who thirst for knowledge, and is constantly learning herself about the magnitude of God’s love and the importance of this mission of learning how to operate in love, and be steadfast. Her favorite Scriptures are John 4:19and Psalm 23:1. Her passions are playwright, teaching, creating, decorating, sewing, reading, poetry and cooking.
