Laura Farney

Having studied in the field of Finance and Business, the challenges of accounting mathematics fostered accuracy and critical thought. My experience has proven my ability to adapt and transfer my skills throughout many differing aspects in the professional world. It is my belief that these practiced skills, in combination with the ability to concisely communicate, that are what truly further individuals and institutions in the global marketplace.

I am a graduate of Rhode Island College, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. In addition to my Accounting degree track, I was also determined to take courses in business management in order to fully understand the cohesion necessary for a finance department to communicate with other branches within a professional entity. Over seven years of experience in the retail industry with Walgreens as enlightened my view of the operation of a nationwide business as a whole. I intend on using the knowledge gained from the advancement in my retail career, as I advance in the corporate atmosphere.
