Laura Willard

Laura Willard is a law school grad who has successfully avoided using her education for six years and counting. She's a wife and an adoptive mom to a four-year-old and a three-year-old.

She's a very busy working mom who loves her job! Laura is the Parenting editor for SheKnows.com as well as the editor for allParenting.

Before giving up the sleep deprived freelance life, she was a writer, blogger & assignment editor. You can find some of her past writing at SheKnows, Red Tricycle and Aiming Low, and professional blogging at Pregnancy and Baby and Real Moms Guide.

Laura also writes articles about adoption. She keeps a personal blog, A(n) (un)Common Family, that covers whatever random thoughts land in her overused, yet sadly slow, brain. She relies on pictures of her cute kids to distract you from the stupidity that sometimes flows from her fingers.

Laura is certain sarcasm is a language, so she's totally bilingual. She loves wine, walking on the beach and sleeping. (She only has time for the first two.) She makes living with several autoimmune diseases, like lupus, look as awesome as it sounds.
