After over 20 years living in New York, London, Florence, Italy and Miami, Lera brings a world of knowledge and expertise to her discerning clientele. As a sixth-generation Texan, she quickly became one of the Briggs Freeman’s top producing agents and a key member of Claire Dewar’s team. Lera is now part of Faisal Halum’s team, playing an integral role in the luxury home sales division of the company.Before joining Briggs Freeman, Lera worked in new home sales for the nationally recognized K. Hovnanian Homes, and in the 1990s was with Sotheby’s Auction House in New York.Lera’s success can be attributed to her keen understanding of the luxury property business and attention to detail, skills that continue to serve her well in marketing real estate. Proficient in several languages and an insatiable traveler, she immediately puts her international and out-of-town clients at ease with her personal warmth, cultural sensitivity and professional demeanor.Lera has lived and traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Latin America. Her pieces have been carried at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus and Fred Segal of Santa Monica while also being featured in top fashion and style publications and on network television shows, including Dancing with the Stars and E! News.Living in the world’s key design centers in distinctively characteristic homes and attending jewelry and gem shows across Europe have shaped Lera’s artistic and business philosophy, successfully designing and creating jewelry for the today’s active and fashionable woman.
