Lindsey Own

After more than 10 years teaching 7th grade science, I'm transitioning to being the lead teacher of my school's new makerspace - the Build Imagine Grow Lab, or BIG Lab.

I work with edtech entrepreneurs through organizing the Seattle EdTech Meetup, and am a fierce advocate for collaboration between teachers, learning sciences researchers, and edtech entrepreneurs. I believe that - by working together - we can truly improve learning outcomes for all children.
