Lisa Sierra

Lisa has a passion for everything Spanish. A native of California, Lisa made her first trip to Spain as a high school exchange student in the 1970's. From that first summer, she fell in love with Spain. Attracted by the warm and fun-loving people, the Mediterranean climate and the flavorful and abundant food, she set her heart on living in Spain. Lisa enjoys leading tours to Spain with her husband whenever she can. With a Masters in Spanish, Lisa has a deep knowledge of the culture and history of Spain and is fluent in Spanish. She currently teaches Spanish in northern California. Together with her husband, they are guides to Spanish food on About.com.
