Little Church of the West

4617 Las Vegas Boulevard South Las Vegas, NV 89119

The church's experienced staff of wedding planners, florists and photographers are constantly on hand to make certain that each marriage ceremony performed on-site is an event to be remembered. Sitting on beautifully landscaped grounds, the Little Church of the West features colorful stained glass windows, a traditional steeple and solid wood construction.

The building's quaint, classic design comes as no surprise to local history buffs. Originally built in 1942 as a part of the Last Frontier Hotel, the Little Church of the West has been moved three times to accommodate the ongoing expansion and redesign of the Las Vegas Strip. The structure itself, however, has undergone precious few alterations or renovations over the years. According to current owner Greg Smith, the carpet and paint have certainly been changed, but the pews are thought to be contemporaneous with the chapel's original construction. The chapel has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since September of 1992. It is the only extant building on Las Vegas Boulevard to be granted this distinctive honor.

The Little Church of the West of Las Vegas is open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day of the week. The church's representatives are available during this time to take telephone reservations from national and international clients alike. Interested parties can also contact the chapel by email via the organization's official website.
