Lonnie Lazear

Now residing in Reston, Virginia, Lonnie Lazear has nearly two decades of experience in restaurant leadership. As a multi-unit restaurant manager at Glory Days Grill, based in Fairfax, he oversees the hiring and managing of staff members, ensures food safety practices, and heads marketing efforts. Lonnie Lazear has received company honors as Managing Partner of the Year.

He originally joined Glory Days Grill in 2003, and five years later, began training to become a managing partner. The same year he came to the restaurant, he also began studying hospitality and tourism at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. There, he delved into topics such as accounting, commercial cooking, hospitality law, and marketing and design.

Previously, Mr. Lazear studied biology at the Metropolitan State College of Denver and earned an associate's degree in general studies from the Community College of Denver. His professional affiliations include the Virginia Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association and the National Restaurant Association.

Outside of his career, Lonnie Lazear enjoys a diverse range of hobbies, from reading and cooking to running triathlons.
