Over the course of his executive career in the consumer products industry, Lorenzo Delpani has focused on innovation and revenue growth. Currently CEO and president of cosmetics giant Revlon, he focuses on goal-oriented capital management and cost optimization, as well as the focused development of fewer and more effective innovations. Lorenzo Delpani has driven significant success for the company via a fourfold strategy that includes product innovation and geographical growth as well as strategic human resources development, targeted fiscal management and cash flow increase.
In his first year with the company, Lorenzo Delpani drove a $580 million market capitalization increase, thus bringing overall revenue to $1.78 billion by the fall of 2014. He has since continued to lead the company's growth, having reported a market cap of $2.01 billion in the spring of 2015. Mr. Delpani remains committed to the success of Revlon and its flagship brand campaigns, including the Love Is On campaign as well as the Almay brand's Simply American campaign.
Lorenzo Delpani comes to his role following similar success as CEO and managing director of The Colomer Group, where he increased enterprise value tenfold and prompted Revlon's 2013 re-purchase of the company. Also former senior vice president of southwestern Europe with Reckitt Benckiser, he stands out as a graduate of The General Manager Program at Harvard Business School. In addition, Mr. Delpani has attended executive education programs at Barcelona's IESE Business School, at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, and at several other leading institutions.
