Lorie Beth Estrada

Lorie Beth Estrada was born in the 90's on Earth Day in 'The Land of Enchantment.' There, she grew up the youngest of her siblings, often referred to as the “tree-hugger” of the family. From a very young age she showed a deep interest in art, animals and nature. You would often find her drawing, painting or taking photographs. When not making art, she would be outside climbing trees and studying animals in hopes of becoming like her childhood hero, Steve Irwin.

She began practicing Tae Kwon Do in middle school until she successfully achieved her black belt in high school. Lorie also focused on fitness, taking on a variety of PE classes every semester. Lorie tried several art classes throughout school but was never fond of them, claiming them to be “too restrictive on the creative process.” It was at the age of 16 when Lorie began the idea for a film project that she continues to develop to this day. She also met her husband her Junior year of high school, recalling that it was “love-at-first-sight.” A year later they were married, graduated together, and even went through Army Basic Training together. Not only is Lorie a proud wife, but also a very proud mother of her first and only child.

Lorie was later certified as an ACE personal trainer, but she now pursues her many passions as a full-time artist.

Lorie's fields of practice are mainly drawing, painting, animation, film making and photography. She also writes songs for the music that she produces. She is currently working on a fictional novel and will soon publish her first children's book.

Activism is an important practice for Lorie as she is deeply passionate for human and animal rights, as well as for the welfare of the environment. Lorie hopes to make some sort of impact in the world, “big or small” by spreading a positive message and inspiring others to care for the earth and each other. Lorie has been a vegetarian since 2013.
