Lucas Lechowski

Based in Los Angeles, Polish born Lucas Lechowski is a composer and violinist who creates music for film and TV and performs. His recent film scoring credits include a 2013 Student Academy Award ® winner Un mundo para Raúl (dir. Mauro Mueller) and two hour documentary NBC special hosted by Tom Brokaw Where Were You: The Day JFK Died aired on the 50th anniversary of the death of President Kennedy.

In the field of film music, Lucas is a recipient of several awards and fellowships including Berlinale Talents (2014), ASCAP/ Film Independent's Project Involve (2014), the Sundance Institute Fellowship for Feature Film Scoring at the Skywalker Ranch (2013); The Society of Composers and Lyricists’ Mentorship Program (2013), ASCAP/Columbia University Film Scoring Workshop (2012); and the NYU/ASCAP Television and Film Scoring Workshop (2012).

Lucas is also active on music scene, creating and performing his experimental multimedia projects and contemporary music.
