Lucia Zigrovic Kristensson

Stockholm, Sweden.

I have an advanced degree in Psychology (University of Zagreb, 2007). I am currently finishing a PhD in social psychology and an MSc in Risk, Decision and Policy Analysis.

I have work history in local and international development, public health as well as research and academia, where I successfully managed large scale projects and developed innovative research and learning opportunities.

I am passionate to learn new ways to innovatively use quantitative data and produce compelling writing. I feel a strong need to constantly work on developing myself as well as others. I believe the world can be made into a better place by the help of social and clinical psychology and motivated people designing projects to this end.

I am 43rd St.Gallen's symposium Leader of Tomorrow alumna and it was a wonderful experience.

In 2012 I was UN Online Volunteering Award finalist for a research study into mental health needs of trafficking victims. I like to do things no one makes me do.

I am fluent in Croatian, English, German, French, Russian and Swedish. I hope to learn at least as many more languages before I die.

My current project is developing an organisation called Framtidsfabriken (Future Factory), aimed at helping highly educated immigrants in Sweden break into its infamously closed labour market, as well as use research and evidence based interventions to strengthen affirmative intercultural competencies of companies and individual job seekers. This is a joint project with Sanja Sain.
