Lucian Morrison

Lucian Morrison, an experienced trustee, consultant, and businessman, currently operates in the area of Houston, Texas. He is the director of two public companies, Erie Indemnity Company (ERIE) and Far East Energy Company (FEEC-OTC). At the former, he is a member of the Audit, Investment and Compensation Committees. For the latter, he also serves on the Audit Committee and as chairman of the Compensation Committee. As a consultant for two wealthy families, Mr. Morrison helped to charter a firm that would manage their family offices. The firm has grown to a value of over $1.9 billion, and its business has expanded so that the non-family segment now surpasses that established for the original families. In addition to his work as a trustee and consultant, Lucian Morrison has over 40 years of experience in the field of banking. With this experience, he proves to be a valuable asset to companies who need help managing their trust departments or estate planning divisions. In the past, he has held the positions of Senior Vice President and Trust Officer at First City Bank, Senior Vice President and Trust Officer at Texas Commerce Bank, and President and Chief Executive Officer for Heritage Trust Company. Most recently, Mr. Morrison was the Chairman of the Trust Committee for the Northern Trust Bank of Texas. Lucian Morrison belongs to numerous respected professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. Possessing a Certificate of Director Education from the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD, Mr. Morrison is a member of both the national and local chapters. He is also a member of the Houston Estate and Financial Forum and the Houston Business and Estate Planning Counsel. A strong supporter of his local community of Houston in his free time, Lucian Morrison has served on numerous boards and committees. He is currently a member of the Development Board for the Houston Health Science Center at the University of Texas. Formerly, Mr. Morrison served as a board member for Friends of Hermann Park, a trustee for the Houston Music Hall Foundation, and a Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Houston Grand Opera.
