In addition, she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, and co-leads an annual event for foster children.

As a mom of two, Lucy actively participates in their education and also co-leads her daughter's Girl Scout Brownie Troop, while her husband leads their son's Cub Scout Troop. Together they shuffle the children to karate, soccer, and other fun!
