Luke Chen

Luke graduated with an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School. He is the Founder and CEO of Francis Caron Global.

Dr Chen has an extensive track record as a clinician-scientist. He serves the Chief Epidemiologist and the Medical Director of Duke's Program for Infection Prevention and Healthcare Epidemiology. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases and International Health at Duke University, Durham, North Carolina.Additionally, he is a faculty member of the Duke Infection Control Outreach Network (DICON) which collaborates with more than 43 community hospitals and ambulatory care centers in southeastern United States. Dr Chen's main research interests include prevention of healthcare-associated infections, the epidemiology and treatment of drug-resistant organisms, and behavioral methods to improve patient safety and medical errors. Dr. Chen is a co-investigator of the CDC Duke University Prevention Epicenter Program.

His past professional background started from medical training from the School of Medicine at University of Melbourne in Australia. He then completed a Masters of Public Health at m the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University and was admitted in the Delta Omega Public Health Honors Society.
