I will be apart of a Los Angeles or New York radio station #OneDay. Period.
Lupe LLerenas also known as Lupe Looove is a driven twenty-something year old Entertainment + Pop Culture Journalist whose work can be found on sites such as Karen Civil, RnBass Music, Home Grown Radio, KCET, KPCRadio, and Blogionista.com
The Mexican-American Latina is a California State University Northridge graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Gender Women Studies with an emphasis in Media and Communication and a Minor in Journalism.
During her undergrad years at CSUN, Lupe was a reporter for Matador News where she shot, wrote and edited day-of-air stories concerning the community both in and around Southern California.
The San Fernando Valley native was apart of CSUN's award-winning syndicated radio station KCSN 88.5 as a Morning Producer from 5am to 9am, where she delivered news at the top of each hour. In the evening, she volunteered her time as a KCSN Street Team member, where she went out, covered events, interacted with students, the community, the greater Los Angeles area, while promoting KCSN.
Lupe was also Community Service Chair for a nonprofit organization called Hermanas Unidas de CSUN, which passionately advocates for Chicana/Latina women in higher education, networking, and community service.
The young hustler is energetic and passionate about radio, news, music (hip-hop in general), making people smile, and giving back to her community and Latino culture.
When she's not chasing a story on social media or checking out an awesome event/concert, then you can find her roaming the streets of Los Angeles with her phone in hand and listening to some 90s tune.
With that being said, stay connected with @LupeLooove and catch her on her next adventure.
Tata for now. - ❤️
