Lyndon Hale

I am Creative Director at Imagination Sydney. Prior to this I was at ECD at Razorfish and was Managing Partner & Executive Creative Director (ECD) at Tongue, Sydney. I spent a chunk of the mid 80s living in Japan at a Budo university before embarking on a creative career some 22 years ago. I started as an illustrator, contracted to Oxford University Press in my hometown. I moved on to South Africa in the 90s where I worked for the likes of JWT and Interbrand, going purely digital in ‘96 for an FCB company called Electric Ocean. I returned to the UK in 2000 joining Modem Media as Creative Director. I enjoyed four years there then moved on to Wheel (now LBi) as ECD, then on to RMG London as ECD prior to moving to Sydney in late 2007 to take up the role I now hold. I live and breathe a heady mix of marketing creativity and technology which is evidenced by the industry recognition I have received and the substantial role I play within the creative community both here and in Europe. I have been recognised by many awards schemes including B&T;, D&AD;, New York Festivals, Cannes Cyber Lions, Clio, IAB Awards UK & Australia, IAB Creative Showcase UK & Australia, Loerie Awards (SA) and Spada Awards (SA). My judging duties have included New York Festivals, IAB Australia Awards, News Digital Cannes Young Lions and IAB Creative Showcase UK & Australia.
