Matlhogonolo Masilo

Hey there! My name is Matlhogonolo Masilo and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Johannesburg (UJ), specifically in the field of Education. I am a pre-service Economics and Business Studies teacher who is a firm believer in the phrase: effort yields result. I chose teaching as a profession to elicit learners' hidden potential and change people's mentality towards teaching as an underestimated profession. However, that will only be opposed through emancipatory pedagogy and progression.

Beyond the school context, I am a self-learning nail artist who is willing to try new things and an aspiring netball player and captain of the African Star Residence. I love interior designing and I am into shopping homeware. I am open to trying to new things, as I love exploring. Well, traveling is also part of what I would love to explore soon as as soon as I get the opportunity!
