Recent: McKenna's Fort, a solo performance about the controversial Irish revolutionary and humanitarian Roger Casement, premièred in Dublin in March 2016 as part of the New Theatre Centenary Celebrations of the Easter Rising. Popular with audiences and critics alike, the show was also invited to be a part of the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival (garnering a nomination for Bates for best male performance and winning the prize for best new writing for Arnold Thomas Fanning).

Recent: Played Tornado in Roy (BBC, RTE, Jam Media: BAFTA Winner, Best Childrens Drama 2012). Screened on BBC in 2014.

Previous Theatre: In 2012 the critically acclaimed solo show Down By The River toured venues around Dublin and ran for a month in Bewley's Cafe Theatre. The show was also invited to the Five Lamps Arts Festival in 2013.
