I am a mental health professional with over 25 years experience in the profession, including lived experience. I am extremely interested in finding ways to help people deal with the issues that can negatively affect mental health in the workplace and the positive steps to overcome them.
Mental health issues cost the UK around GBP 70 billion every year, or roughly 4.5% of GDP, in lost productivity at work, benefit payments and health care expenditure. The Office for National Statistics data shows that sickness absence caused by stress, anxiety or depression had increased to 15.2 million days lost in 2013 up from 11.8 million days in 2010.
This is something we can't afford to ignore. I see my role in helping everyone to recognise the enormous improvements that can be made to staff's resilience and well-being. Get in touch NOW, you won't be disappointed.
I live in Edinburgh and conduct my services in and around the Edinburgh area. Have a look at my website to see how we can help you.
