Malon Devine
As founder and current Anesthesia Director of Devine Anesthesia, Inc., Malon Devine oversees the most prominent team of anesthesiologists in Palm Beach County, Florida. Established by Malon Devine in 2005, Devine Anesthesia, Inc., supplies local outpatient surgery centers and hospitals with full-time, board certified anesthesiologists called anesthesia care teams (ACTs). Headed by on-site medical directors, ACTs collaborate with nurses and surgeons before, during, and after their patients’ medical procedures. The team also administers anesthetics, observes vital signs during surgery, and monitors patients’ recovery post-procedure, ensuring that at all points of the procedure patients are safe and free of pain. After graduating with a Master of Health Administration from La Roche College in Pittsburgh, Malon Devine trained for his doctorate in Clinical Anesthesiology at the Westmoreland-Latrobe School of Anesthesia, which has the second highest-rated anesthesia program in the United States. Devine graduated at the top of his class and passed the national board certification shortly thereafter. Along with his degrees and certifications in the health sciences, Devine also obtained an MBA from the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Development at Florida Atlantic University. Active in the health community, Devine created the Relevant Topic Anesthesia Seminars, LLC, a seminar agency, in 2007. Four years later, he formed Care Givers Plus, LLC, a service to help aging adults and their relatives navigate all aspects of the health industry. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Association of Clinical Directors. Malon Devine also dedicates his time to various community services, including the Affordable Housing Communities, the American Orchid Society, and Caring Kitchen.
