I have been married for 18 years and have been mothering for that same amount of time. I am a biological, adoptive, foster, and host mom. We have 16 children that we lay claim to, ages 2-23.

I am a lover of animals and nature. We have several pets, including: dogs, turtles, a tortoise, fish, and degus.

Two years ago, our daughter was diagnosed with PANDAS, a chronic autoimmune disorder that has nearly taken over our lives. In an effort to help our daughter, I am learning about organic living on a budget. We also found her a service dog, a beautiful golden retriever that has changed our lives.

I always knew I wanted to be an adoptive mother and eventually we found that foster care was a part of our calling. We choose to foster teens because we can't stand the idea of children aging out of the system without a family.

Our home is busy and chaotic, but this is how I like it.
