Marcello Pompa

A finance graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Boston, Marcello Pompa brings an extensive janitorial operations background and expertise in project management to his work as an executive in the cleaning industry. Over the course of his career, Marcello Pompa has developed a range of management skills, including familiarity with diverse finance methodologies and a facility for identifying employee strengths and weaknesses while spearheading business initiatives that have increased revenue and productivity. Fluent in English and Portuguese, he draws upon his language skills to interact with a diverse customer and employee base.

Since 2000, Marcello Pompa has leveraged this background to lead as president of M&M Cleaning in Malden, Massachusetts, where he manages all aspects of human resources, accounting, contract management, and other daily operations. Under his direction, the company has expanded to a staff of 160 cleaning professionals who maintain contracts comprising over 4.5 million square feet in facilities across the greater Boston area.

Since accepting his leadership role with the company, Marcello Pompa has implemented a range of safety policies and other initiatives that have led to a 40-percent increase in productivity. He has also organized weekly review sessions to discuss the company’s strategic outlook and long-term goals.
