Hi, I’m Marcia L. King and I love what I do and where I’m at in life. I’ve been married to my childhood sweetheart for more than 26 years. I’m grateful to say that I have two fabulous daughters, a son-in-law, two adorable grandbabies and a beagle named Zoey.

I’m originally from Michigan, but moved to Florida in the late 80’s after my hubby joined the U.S. Navy. I enjoy living in the Sunshine State, but still visit Michigan as often as I can (only in the summer and fall; not a fan of long winters and cold weather!).

I’ve had the pleasure of working in the communications and the social marketing industry for more than 10 years. I began my career in the dental field in various support roles (i.e., dental assistant, hygiene coordinator and office coordinator), where I worked for 13 years. After developing a latex allergy, I moved on to the corporate world working for an insurance company in the dental claims department.

In early 2000, I began managing an internal corporate website which led me into a social marketing role where I gained a wealth of experience in writing, newsletters (print/web), journalism, project management, social media and blogging and web design.

I love helping small businesses create their social platform. It’s fun getting to know each entrepreneur and finding out what their passion is and what drives them to do what they’re doing. It’s my job to find out what platform will work for them and put their unique story into words.
