Marcus T Grant

Marcus Grant is a Talent Manager Grant’s career in music began with an internship at Sony Music after faxing the Human Resources department “40 times in a row” to get their attention. Less than a year into the internship, Marcus was handpicked to participate in the label’s Junior Executive Program, where he worked in close quarters with then Sony Music Chairman Tommy Mottola and then EVP of Sony Music Publishing, Jody Graham Dunitz. Sony Music offered Grant a job, but he declined, choosing instead to manage then-unknown gospel group Mary Mary and assisting them in reaching platinum. In 2001, Grant joined The Firm, where oversaw the careers of 112, Lionel Richie, and Maxwell. In 2006, Marcus started his own company, Oralee Management, taking 112 with him and managing other artists including Grammy-winning Chamillionaire. Now at The Collective, Grant manages the musical careers of iconic Grammy Award winning artists such as Big Boi of Outkast, Toni Braxton and Kelly Rowland.
