An accomplished manufacturing and supply executive, Marek Menger spent nearly four decades at the helm of Petro-Valve, a company he founded with $20,000 of his own savings in 1980. From these modest beginnings, Marek Menger led the company to rapid growth that included sales surpassing $3 million in its first year.

Over the next three decades, Petro-Valve continued to thrive under the leadership of Mr. Menger through a combination of savvy business decisions, a commitment to professionalism, and distributorship deals with major manufacturers such as Aloyco Valve and Flowseal Valve. By the time he left the company in 2016, Petro-Valve generated annual revenue of close to $50 million.

A Texas native, Mr. Menger stood out as an all-district football player for Houston’s Westchester High School before going on to attend the University of Houston and Texas A&M University, where he played as a walk-on cornerback on the football team. Prior to launching Petro-Valve, he gained experience as a sales executive for Southwest Valve & Fitting.

Currently, Mr. Menger draws upon his entrepreneurial experience in his new venture, Menger Valve, which he founded in October of 2017.
