Margaret Thompson

Margaret is a self-motivated multimedia journalist and filmmaker.

Currently a Media Arts Masters student at Ohio University, formerly the education reporter for the Warren Tribune Chronicle/ Tribtoday.com and occasionally a production assistant for traveling reality television show, Margaret has worked for Jane.tv, Kent State Independent Films, Antioch Overflow Experiment, Kent State Undergraduate Student Government, and more producing videos and running social media. She has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Kent State University. Margaret produced her first full-length documentary Shelter to Hope at the age of 22 and has continued to produce videos independently as the sole-propritor of Megannet Media.

Based in Columbus and Youngstown, OH, Margaret is available for freelance work.
