Margaret Turano

After receiving her B.A. in English and Psychology from Boston College, Margaret Turano earned a Master of Education at Boston University. Since then, Turano has achieved success in the healthcare technology industry. Possessing strong leadership qualities and superb communication skills, Margaret Turano now operates as the Field Marketing Manager for Symantec Corporation's recently formed healthcare vertical. In this role, she collaborates with the public relations team, manages trade shows, packages services and software, and provides training tools for direct and channel sales.

Previously, Margaret Turano worked for Agfa HealthCare as the Director of Marketing Communications and Public Relations. Prior to her work with Agfa, she contributed to the rapid growth of Merge Healthcare, formerly AMICAS, Inc. Annual revenue increased from $1 million to $52 million during Turano's tenure as Marketing Communications Director.

Margaret Turano maintains membership in the HealthCare Businesswomen's Association and the Boston Biomedical Marketing Association. She currently resides in Boston.
