Mariah K. Young

Start with an optimisic attitude, add in a strong midwestern work ethic, and sprinkle on creativity and you have successfully created a Mariah.

As a sophomore at Simpson College, I am currently studying Integrated Marketing and Communications with a minor in Business Marketing.

When not in class you can find me interning at a tech start-up in downtown Des Moines called Dwolla. I'm also the manager for the college's Student Government Association and Undgergrad Assistant for the Simpson Forum program.

I believe in the value of education in all its forms, that is why I look to learn outside the classroom. I also believe that life should be lived passionately - everyday, no excuses.
